MAINTENANCE

Description

D’Hanis ISD is seeking a full-time maintenance worker
D’Hanis has a total district enrollment of 300 students
D’Hanis maintains approximately 50 employees

Minimum Qualifications

High School Degree or equivalent

Experience in maintenance operations
Valid Texas driver’s license
Bus Driving and CDL License and or willingness to obtain license

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of routine maintenance practices
Knowledge of minor repair techniques and maintenance methods
Knowledge of equipment, chemicals, and materials used in cleaning
Ability to implement policy and procedures
Ability to operate tools and equipment safely
Ability to recommend and use custodial supplies
Ability to work cooperatively with all district employees
Ability to operate lawnmowers, weed eaters, etc.
With application, authorize criminal background check
Prior to employment, submit to fingerprinting process
If employed, agree to 240 day contract year

Salary/Benefits

Salary commensurate with qualifications
Minimum Salary $14.00 an hour
